Enjoying summer so far? May 19, 2009 |
| Hello Hope this newsletter finds you well. We have been enjoying a bit of a "cold front" here in Blanco. It was actually 50° when I woke up this morning! If you're keeping track of the progress of the Real Foods Online web site... Sorry, no new entries lately. I've been trying to squeeze in some other projects... Did you like the mineral makeup we carried at Real Foods? Want to know how to get your refills? I have the website up if you'd like to be aware of new shades, specials, application how-tos and videos, and natural skin care articles. Check it out here: As we get closer to Summer (even if it didn't feel like it today, you KNOW it's coming), I thought I'd write an article about sunshine. You can find it here: I am placing orders directly for Hanna Kroeger, Dr. Christopher, and Celtic Salt products. So far, the shedule is every two months (the order has to be big enough to avoid shipping charges). Locals, only, please. I can also order for you to be shipped immediately, but there is an extra fee that I would have to pass on to you. (shipped anywhere in the continental U.S.) Please call me at (830) 833-9515 and I'll add your order to the list. Now I have a couple of requests regarding Real Foods Online: If you have ordered anything through my new online store, I would really appreciate any feedback -
* Was it easy or difficult to order? Also, it would help me out if you would let me know what you'd like to see in the store listings. I will find the best deals on the quality products you're looking for, and make them available to you, my customer. With gratitude,
Sherri And now, you can shop at Real Foods ONLINE! Subscribe to email notifications when we post specials on the Real Foods Blog: RF Blog Updates Or follow us on Twitter: Real Foods Twitter If someone has forwarded this newsletter to you and you like what you see, please subscribe (it's free) at Thanks! Are you having trouble with the links in this newsletter? They were working when I tested them, but they may not be "live" or "clickable" depending on your email service (If they're blue, you can click 'em). When they are short, I don't mind typing them into the address bar, but sometimes links can get very long and complex... Here's what you do on a PC (sorry, I don't know much about MACs). Highlight the entire link (you can do it even if the link is longer than one line) by pointing your mouse just past one end of the link. Hold down the left mouse button and drag your mouse all the way to the other end of the link. Let go of the mouse button. The link should be highlighted. Now copy the link by holding down the CTRL button (bottom left of your keyboard), and pushing the C key (for "copy"). Now, take your fingers off the keys. That makes your computer remember the link for a bit. Next, point your mouse at the address window at the top of the page, erase the address that's in the address bar, then click to engage the cursor. Be sure to use the address bar, and not a search window, or it may not work. Now, hold down the CTRL key again, and this time push the V key to paste what the computer is remembering, to the place you told it. If all has gone well, the link address should be ready and waiting for you. Just hit ENTER and go. |
